Den kristdemokratiska högerns ekonomiska politik har skapat ett Europa i massarbetslöshet. Det skriver Malin Björk (V) i slutreplik till Lars Adaktusson (KD).
Militarisering, Natomedlemsskap, abortmotstånd och mer makt till EU, det är vad kristdemokraternas politik för EU verkar gå ut på. En dammig politik som är i otakt med väljarna.
Det är bra att kristdemokraten Lars Adaktusson vill bygga på fred (Europaportalen 19 februari). Att han ser förtrycket i Mellanöstern som ett problem och känner att kränkningar mot mänskliga rättigheter måste upphöra, inom så väl som utanför EU. Tyvärr tror vi inte att de ”riktade åtgärder”, och ”kraftfull europeisk utrikespolitik” är rätt väg. Detta är inget annat än olika ord för ökad militarisering. Både KD och Adaktusson har vid flera tillfällen senaste åren talat sig varma för NATO-medlemskap och röstat för militarisering av EU.
Adaktusson går vidare med att hylla de nya jobb som skapades i EU fram till 2008. Bekvämt stannar han upp innan krisens blommat ut. Hans siffror är sex år gamla. Sen dess har krisen slagit till med bland annat en skenande ungdomsarbetslöshet, på i genomsnitt 23,2 procent i EU (Eurostat 2012Q4). Samtidigt har många européer fått gå ner på deltid, fått sänkt lön eller pension och tvingats lämna hus och hem. Som statistiken tydligt visar har många jobb offrats för att försvara en dysfunktionell ekonomisk modell, där privatiseringar, avregleringar, och nedskärningar ska rädda den gemensamma valutan. KD och högern i EU har, tvärtemot vad de försöker göra gällande, ingen politik för jobbskapande. Deras politik har visat sig skapa raka motsatsen, massarbetslöshet.
Om man ser på hur KD röstat under mandatperioden är det tydligt att den politik man förespråkar inte handlar om att underlätta för greker i kris, solidaritet eller fred. Istället röstar man på fördjupat militärt samarbete, för åtstramningspolitik och emot kvinnors rätt att bestämma över sina kroppar.
Vänsterpartiet är och förblir en EU kritisk röst. Till skillnad från KD tror vi inte att EU är vägen, sanningen och livet, utan vi ser och pekar på de grundläggande problemen – som kvarstår. Detta gör vi samtidigt som vi på plats driver en politik som försvarar välfärd och arbetsrätt, kvinnors rättigheter och miljön.
En röst på vänsterpartiet är en trygg röst. Medan KD säger ja och amen till det mesta, så kommer vi alltid ställa oss frågan om detta verkligen bör bestämmas av EU eller om det bättre bestäms på nationell nivå.
